Sherri Barnett is the founder of EmpowerHer Through Healing™, a faith-based coaching and para-ministry established in 2023 to help women break free from internal barriers and step into clarity, healing, and purpose—both in life and business.
Commissioned through Luke 5:4–6, Sherri carries a mandate to call women out of limitation and into overflow. She equips them to move beyond cycles of rejection, fear, and emotional wounds so they can build with confidence, hear God clearly, and walk fully in their Kingdom assignment. With a strong prophetic foundation, Sherri serves at North Palm Church in Charleston, South Carolina in intercession and the prophetic ministry while leading her own para-ministry where she specializes in inner healing and deliverance coaching. Her work focuses on identifying and uprooting soul wounds that often block income, clarity, and forward movement—especially for women called to build and lead.
As a certified Biblical and Transformational Life Coach through Dream Mentors International, Sherri combines spiritual discernment with proven coaching frameworks to guide her clients through deep transformation. Her approach is both practical and Spirit-led—helping women not only heal, but also rebuild their lives and businesses from a place of wholeness.
In addition to her ministry, Sherri has been a business owner since 2006 and is the CEO of a trucking company, giving her a unique authority in both marketplace leadership and ministry. She understands firsthand the intersection of faith, healing, and entrepreneurship. Her mission is clear: to help women heal at the root, unlock what’s been blocked, and step into the life, calling, and provision God has already prepared for them.

A prophetic teaching ministry focused on deliverance and inner healing serves as a transformative platform for spiritual growth and restoration. “I was in one of the darkest times of my life. After recently losing my father to suicide, I cried out to God for answers. As I sat in the chair where he had taken his life, a deep abyss of despair and darkness came over me. It felt as though I was experiencing the same evil that had tormented my father his entire life. After a month of praying and begging God to help me, He reminded me of Sherri’s gift in dealing with the supernatural. Just weeks before, I had witnessed her confront and overcome an evil spirit dwelling within a man on the street. At the time, I was in the middle of relentless spiritual warfare, and I knew I needed help. I called Sherri, explained what I was going through, and asked if she would pray over me.
